“Glory Be! (a Historical Romance) Opens February 22, 2013

“Glory Be! (a Historical Romance)” features storybook drawings by Matthew Waldeck, text-based drawings by Paul McGurl, and sculptural works by Britni Bicknaver.  The exhibit opens February 22, 2013, reception 6 to 10 pm, and closes April 13, 2013.  “Glory Be!” is a three-person meditation on what “history” means individually and collectively.  The three artists take on tropes and tales that are instantly recognizable, but then they reimagine and reinvent these situations into personal icons and images that seem to both celebrate and investigate what they mean.
